Tabitha and Kyle’s Chic Mallorca Wedding with Glittering Galia Lahav Gown
Set against the stunning soft-toned Cal Reiet retreat in the town of Santanyi, Tabitha and Kyle’s wedding in Mallorca is a beautiful fusion of chic yet laidback touches, with a nod to English country garden style. The bride wore a beautiful appliqué Galia Lahav dress that delicately glimmered in the Balearic sun, and was accompanied by her gorgeous bridesmaids in the softest pale blue floral dresses by V. Chapman. The groom and his groomsmen were in classic black tie with personalised cuffs, which felt effortlessly cool against the more relaxed backdrop of the venue. Organised by Wonderlust Events, every detail was carefully considered, from personalised parasols and fans to a fun Espresso Martini tower, with the prettiest of florals dotted around the venue.

HOW WE MET
“I met Kyle at University in our early 20s at a 'silent disco' house party... After seeing each other around the city on nights out we had a drunken kiss in a club and then started dating. We fell in love very quickly and after living together in London for a few years we moved to Switzerland for my work. Finally, 8 years after we first met, Kyle proposed at sunset looking over Lake Zurich on my birthday.”
THE DRESS
“I went to multiple boutiques in London with my mum and sisters but didn't really have a specific style or designer in mind at the beginning. Funnily enough though, the first gown I tried on at Brown's London was a Galia Lahav by coincidence and I absolutely loved it - but it was a little too voluminous for my Mallorca wedding (I needed something a little lighter for the heat!) After going to 4-5 more boutiques and trying on more styles / designers I was keen to try more Galia Lahav dresses on and found a boutique in Zurich which was 5 minutes away from where Kyle proposed to me - so it felt like it was meant to be! Zoro Zurich was the most amazing bridal experience I could have ever imagined. My appointment was on my 30th birthday weekend with my mum and twin sisters. I tried on about 8 dresses, and had just about given up hope, then my consultant bought in my final picked dress, and as soon as I put it on I just knew this was the one. I made a couple of custom changes (changed to Ivory and zip-up back). I felt like the dress was made for me and my Mallorcan wedding, it looked so amazing glittering in the sunshine / sunset and matched perfectly with the venue and bridesmaid dresses.”
SPECIAL MEMORIES FROM THE DAY
“We got married at the stunning Cal Reiet in the gorgeous town of Santanyi, Mallorca. Our family and bridal party stayed with us at the venue for the weekend - the night before we had an aperitif and paella outside the front of the house at sunset and a pizza pool party recovery day after the wedding. Our wedding day was so magical - perfectly organised and coordinated by our amazing wedding planner Holly, at Wonderlust Events. I loved the parasol / fan details for all the guests. I bought my dad custom cufflinks with our family dog's face on as he couldn't be at the wedding in Mallorca with us. My twin sisters gave a speech during the aperitif which was so special. All the bridesmaids wore beautiful V. Chapman gowns. Kyle's and all his groomsmen had custom shirts with their initials on the cuff. Having an Espresso Martini tower instead of champagne tower was super fun!”
