Olivia and Jack’s Quintessentially English Wedding in London’s Marylebone
An effortlessly cool city wedding that still felt quintessentially English, the spaces Olivia and Jack chose to spend their wedding day in were simply beautiful, setting the most special tone for the day. Starting the day getting ready at the sumptuously decorated Home House, the rooms were filled with ditsy florals from the walls to the ceiling, and just created the prettiest space to unwind in before the ceremony. Bringing a real fancy sleepover feel to the morning, the bridesmaids got ready in fun pink pinstriped pyjamas whilst the bride wore glamorous white pyjamas with a feathery trim, before stepping into a gorgeous one shouldered bridal gown complete with oversized bow from Justin Alexander. Sweeping her hair into a chic low bun and following plenty of tears from her bridesmaids dressed prettily in pink, they headed off to the Old Marylebone Town Hall for the ceremony.
Clutching a wildflower bouquet filled with dahlias, stocks and daisies in pretty hues of purple, pink and white, Olivia met Jack at the end of the aisle kitted out in classic black tie, as they said their I Do’s in front of their nearest and dearest. Following plenty of photos in the timelessly elegant Town Hall, the couple hopped into a classic London black cab and headed onto their reception at The Italian Greyhound Bar and Dining Room in Marylebone. Featuring classic and refined interiors teamed with delicious foodie offerings, the private space at the restaurant provided the perfect balance for a laidback yet fancy feeling affair. With one long table running down the centre of the room featuring dainty posies of flowers and fun wiggly stationery design, it created the ideal gathering space for cosy chats, sentimental speeches and tucking into delicious food with all their loved ones.
