1. Plas Dinam Country House
Located in Newtown in Powys, Plas Dinam Country House is a well-loved exclusive use wedding venue that can be yours for the full weekend. Surrounded by wildflower fields and mountain vistas, their weddings are held in their recently renovated Old Stables barn, a chic country setting with lovely lighting, glass ceiling and quirky guest bathroom facilities. It can seat up to 160 guests with 34 of them also able sleep in the main house too. As a no corkage wedding venue, couples have the freedom to really make it their own.
2. Wilde Lodge
Surrounded by lush fields, the pretty Wilde Lodge, its Long Barn and safari tents are approached via a romantic tree lined driveway. With the aim of becoming a private home for the full weekend, you and your bridal party can get ready in the main house, followed by a ceremony in their Long Barn for up to 90 guests. For the reception they have the Wilde Safari Tent that is set up within the old barn walls, and is able to seat 120 guests. With a late license of 1.30am, you and your guests can party until the early hours, toast marshmallows around the fire pits and retire to a village of Bell Tents, with space enough to sleep 120 guests if you wish.
3. Bryngarw House
Nestled within the award-winning Bryngarw Country Park in South Wales, the elegant Bryngarw House was originally a 15th century farmhouse, that was later transformed into a charming, luxury wedding venue. Set amongst 114 acres of parklands, majestic woodlands and its own oriental garden, the venue is nicely located along the banks of the River Garw. Exclusively yours for the day, it can host up to 100 guests in their French inspired Traherne Suite with floor to ceiling windows and twinkly chandeliers, or up to 120 guest in their permanent marquee in the grounds. The venue also has its own honeymoon suite and 18 further bedrooms.
4. Iscoyd Park
Set amongst 18th century parkland and stunning manicured gardens, the decadent Iscoyd Park has recently undergone an award-winning restoration and redesign, bringing modernity to the venue whilst still retaining its character, history and homely warmth. This new injection of style means it feels like a relaxed yet special wedding spot, that can you hire out for 1, 2 or 3 days exclusively. The venue can host up to 150 guests for a ceremony in one of their 3 licensed ceremony spaces and up to 160 guests for dinner, with their light filled Garden Room being a lovely option. The venue can sleep up to 36 guests across its bedrooms, and had a sweet cottage on the edge of the park that is perfect for the bridal party to get ready in.
5. Soughton Hall
Located on the borders of Cheshire and North Wales, the regal Soughton Hall was originally built as a Bishop’s Palace in 1714, and later renovated to a high degree in the 1800’s by Sir Charles Barry, a famous British architect known for his work on the Houses of Parliament and Downton Abbey’s Highclere Castle. The venue feels elegant yet relaxed throughout and consists of stunning rooms, gardens and a permanent marquee space for larger weddings. Exclusively yours for the day, it can host between 20 to 300 guests with the option of hosting weddings both indoors and out.
6. Chateau Rhianfa
Tucked away on the lovely Welsh island of Anglesey, the French inspired Chateau Rhianfa was originally built in 1849 and still retains many of its romantic original features. From high ceilings, fine decor and twinkling chandeliers, to stunning architecture and delicate features, this venue perched on the water’s edge is just made for a wedding. They have an experienced and dedicated on site team ready to help you, along with 30 bedrooms for you to host your guests within.
7. Weddings at Florin
Where traditional Welsh design meets country manor house flamboyance, this charming wedding venue is filled to the brim with character. Set amongst 5 acres of land on the West Wales Heritage Coast, it it can host weddings of up to 50 in the main house, or up to 250 in a marquee on the lawn. It will be exclusively yours for the weekend, and has space for 14 guests to stay within the pretty house.

Last but certainly not least, the Grade II* listed Gileston Manor is set within 9 acres of lovely sweeping grounds, lush gardens and located close to the sea. With a fairytale feel outside and quirky design inside, it will be exclusively yours for the weekend. Say your vows in their 18th century Walled Garden filled with flowers and apple trees, or in their Summer House and Secret Garden followed by celebratory drinks on the lawn. Host your reception of up to 140 guests within their Lotus marquee with panoramic views of the Heritage Coast, with the ability to up the number to 200 in the evening. The venue can also sleep 40 guests across their 8 suites and 7 en-suite bedrooms.
