3. Castell d’Enfesta

A Medieval-Gothic imperial fortress dating back to the 10th century, Castell d’Enfesta has had a number of nobles and viscounts call it home. Recognised as a Cultural Heritage Site in 1988, the majestic castle is home to ancient towers, regal exterior arches and detailed interiors, that form a beautiful backdrop to your wedding day. Host your wedding ceremony in their adorned church if you wish or alfresco looking out over the rolling hills, followed by a reception on their terrace that can accommodate up to 160 guests.

4. Masia Casa Nova

An authentic Spanish villa that has been recently renovated to combine traditional architecture with contemporary design, Masia Casa Nova is nestled within a 600 acre estate that is home to vast gardens, filled with palm trees and an infinity pool. Surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, this 15th century Catalan manor has been recently renovated to preserve its original character whilst bringing in modern amenities and creature comforts. The venue has several terraces to choose from for al fresco celebrations and has a fully air conditioned interior too. 6. Villa Catalina

Surrounded by 400 acres of secluded private grounds with views over the Mediterranean landscape and Penedés vineyards, Villa Catalina is a charming 18th century wedding venue. 7. This Must Be The Place

Located on the cusp of a valley overlooking the Catalan hill, This Must Be The Place was tailor made for weddings and events. Created by British owners Jo and Duncan who have backgrounds in music festivals, record labels and film production, the venue was brought to life after their tricky search for a destination wedding venue. Boasting some of the prettiest sunsets, the venue has several lovely spaces to choose from for hosting your wedding day. There’s Els Graners, a lovingly restored barn with bifold doors that open out onto the central courtyard of El Barri, a space that’s perfect for welcome drinks and ceremonies. They also have L’Era, a large open space surrounded by flowers and plants that’s ideal for a ceremony, along with an abundance of other green spaces to choose from.

11. La Torre Dels Lleons

Built in the 19th century on the ruins of the Picalqués Castle, this historic venue still features traces that date impressively far back to the 2nd Century AD when it was owned by the Picalqués family, with theirs coat of arms still at the front door. Located just 8km from the centre of Barcelona and 12km from the city airport, the venue is a stunning spot for an alfresco wedding, against the backdrop of the grand Catalan farmhouse. it is owned by the catering company Sibaris catering who have over 20 years experiences in weddings, and have organised more the 500 events within this space.
